Grants with delegated awards from BKH 2023

We are pleased to announce four grants with delegated awards from The Relief Fund for Visual Artists in 2023!

Møre og Romsdal Art Center will award 4 grants to professional artists in the visual art field, who work in Møre and Romsdal.

Each grant is NOK 50.000 and the funds are paid directly to the artists who are awarded the grant.

Delegated awards from The Relief Fund for Visual Artists aim to strengthen the professional regional art field in connection with the art centres’ activities.

The grant must be used for the production of art/art projects that are to be shown or disseminated in the region.

The application must contain:

- Brief project description in Norwegian or English in PDF (max. 800 words)

- Documentation of relevant works, previous projects – max 10 photos.

- CV

NB! All material , projectdescription, cv, images, must be assembled in one PDF.

Application deadline: 1 April 2023

The applications are processed and assessed by a jury consisting of MRK’s artistic advisory board, with members from NKM and BKMR, one external member and general manager of MRK.

Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond / Visual Artists Relief Fund must be credited as follows when promoting a grant project: "(Name of the artist) has received (name of the art centre)’s production grant from The Relief Fund for Visual Artists.

BKH’s logo must also be used on written material.
