Becken trio - Music in distorted landscape

On Thursday the 21st of July the art in the exhibition will be in company of beautiful music, when Becken Trio plays live in the gallery from 1 pm to 2.30.

Becken Trio consists of Gunnar Bech trombone and vocals, Sindre Klykken bass and Torstein Fuglseth guitar. The musicians are based in Molde but also form the core in several jazz bands locally and nationally. The trio has a well composed repertoire of jazz standards that are conveyed with high quality and fine interpretations.

A perfect combination for this exhibition, as both Geir M Brungot´s photo and Stein Koksvik´s work contains elements of spontaneity, rhythm, improvisation and playfulness- the same qualities also associated with live music, and especially jazz.

The gallery is open 12 Noon-7 pm every day during the jazzfestival . Entrance free of charge and open to all.
