VI GÅR NED MED STIL OG ENGANGSGRILL
Norway 2022, 16 min
VI GÅR NED MED STIL OG ENGANGSGRILL is a short film that explores the human reaction to a climate crisis that seems unmanageable. A meteorologist is among the select few who get to join those in power and technology giants of a new planet. If he leaves, he leaves his partner and the small group of people who have given up hope and would rather continue the party. The film was awarded this year’s Autumn Exhibition Award.
The film is made in collaboration between Signe Rosenlund-Hauglid, Ylva Gulpinar, Io Sivertsen and Christa Barlinn Korvald. They have different backgrounds in photography, art, documentary and sound art, but all work with film and storytelling. They are educated at the Norwegian Film School, the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, HDK Valand and the Royal Academy of Art (The Hague). In 2022, they debuted with this film at The Autumn Exhibition in Oslo. The film stars Emil Johnsen, Hamza Kader and Leif Hernes.
